ITEM 728 Item 728: A genuine Autographed check of the famous Abraham Lincoln's 1st son; Robert Todd Lincoln. Born to Abraham & Mary Lincoln, Robert (1843- 1926) was a Captain with General US Grant when his father was killed by John Wilkes Booth. Robert later became Sect. of War, and then U.S. Minister to Great Britain. This very Rare check was drawn from his personal account with his nameplate on the left end, it is dated 1919, and it's inkstamped & punch cancelled (does not affect the signature).
